Workout Tank Review – Erica Lineberry
Tango Tank review by Erica Lineberry
What do you get when you combine feminine lines with a remarkably soft space-dye fabric? The Tango Tank!
This tank is new from Stonewear’s Spring collection, and I’ve been extremely impressed with its versatility. It pairs well with athletic capris for the climbing gym or a sassy skirt for drinks with the ladies. The scooped neckline and bow add a flirty, feminine touch, but the soft, wicking fabric are the real gym-worthy attributes. The color offerings are awesome as well–I have one in rhubarb (an intense, deep fuchsia) and chartreuse (an unusual shade of yellow/green.)
As a climber, I care just as much about what my clothing looks like from the back as I do from the front (since that’s what everyone sees when you’re climbing!). That’s why my favorite part of this tank is its back straps. The crossover design shows off a strong, toned back without compromising support up front.
And, from a new mom’s perspective, this tank is forgiving in all the right places. The fit is a lot more relaxed than similarly styled tops, and features a wide, stay-put cuff at the bottom hem. It’s not so loose that it looks sloppy, but it’s loose enough to hide a little “pooch” here and there.
This top works best for lower-impact activities like yoga, climbing, hiking/walking, and cruising around with your ladies or loved ones. For me, the support isn’t adequate for something high impact like running, but your mileage may vary. Whatever endeavor you choose, the Tango Tank will help you look and feel great doing it!
