Girls (& boys) Just Want to Have Fun at the Red Rock Rendezvous
This year, Stonewear Designs decided to join its brother company Trango Extraordinary Climbing at the Red Rock Rendezvous, a rock climbing event in Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, just outside of Las Vegas, Nev. The Stonewear Team (in this case blog editor Lizzy Scully and guest team member Casey Jones) brought some neat outfits down, hung out at the booth for a couple busy days, and held a raffle that more than 50 people entered. We’ll be announcing the results later this week on Facebook and via email.
The event was thoroughly enjoyable, and MountainGear.com did an excellent job with organization. Lizzy attended one clinic–Girls Just Want to Have Fun–led by Outdoor Research athlete (but frequent wearer of Stonewear Designs clothing) Madaleine Sorkin. We outfitted Mad for the trip, and she looked awesome in her Nimble shorts and Lyra Top.
